Little Flowers and Little Smiles

Browsing through a few blogs I came across a linky challenge over at

Sailor & Company that I thought would be fun!
For the RAW(e) challenge you must share a completely unedited photo!

The theme is LITTLE and after going through hundreds of photos 

I found a few that I had forgotten about and really am happy I found. 

I don't really take much time to go back through photos 

since I am uploading so many each week so it really was a lot of fun!

So it's not the best lighting or quality but my sweet girl picked me these Little flowers when we lived in AL! She still LOVES to pick flowers for everyone that lets her lol!

I spent a lot of time planting these hibiscus plants when we lived in AL.. When we drove through on our way back from Disney we drove by our old house.. They didn't keep them 'tear' 

SO here is my photo for the RAW(e) challenge.. (I realized I added 3 but here is THE one =)

This was one of the very first pictures I took with my camera!

Lightroom Love...

One of my favorite pictures

So I decided to download a trial version of Photoshop Lightroom 

because the beginning of 2011 will hopefully be the beginning of a new business =) 

I have ALWAYS loved photography and I have decided that now is the time to pursue this dream.  

But anyways, before I purchase lightroom I thought I would check it out! 

I have no idea what I am doing but I am having fun trying.

On another (slightly funny) note, Kenzie's Thankful tree leaves yesterday and today were "purple" and "Peanut Butter Sandwich" =) 

Thankful Tree - Day 1

I started our Thankful Tree today and each day through Thanksgiving we will add a small leaf of what each of us is Thankful for. Today when I asked Kenzie what she was Thankful for she didn't really understand so I just asked "Who do we LOVE?" And she said "Mommy and Daddy.. And Ava" Then after I wrote down those names she said "What about Mackenzie" haha  =) 

So of course we added her and Coco (Our dog)

I used THIS template for the leaves.. I like it because we can use the smaller leaves for the everyday ones and I used the bigger template for our names.

I love this craft and can't wait to see it finished =)
