Busy Busy Weekend...

Saturday I took pictures of my Brother in law and soon to be sister in law! 

We had so much fun and they were hilarious!  And we were able to get some great shots.

Then Sunday we headed out to the Fort Worth stock show and had a great time.

Ava had the goat is somewhat of a choke-hold the whole time and I didn't 

realize it until I looked at the pictures haha poor thing!!

Kenzie was back to Moms day out today and I have been editing photos all day.

I'm hoping we can get on a normal schedule soon.

Penguin Awareness Day

Today is Penguin awareness day so I organized a penguin playdate to celebrate.

We watched Happy Feet and made these adorable crafts

Then I attempted to make Oreo penguin cookies..

They probably would have looked better if I had the candy corn

I was supposed to use for the beak and feet lol

But it didn't really matter what they looked like because I think they were still

enjoyed by all the kids ;)

Birthday, Snow and New Business!

We have had a BUSY week! First Ava's birthday party was fantastic and I'm still in denial about it lol

Here are a few pics from the big day!

And we got SNOW that day! I'm sure it's not that exciting to anyone north of DFW but we were excited :)

Pre-Party I took Ava outside for a picture and to check out the snow =)

Ok so she likes it as long as she doesn't get it on her hand haha

And finally! I am starting a photography business! I am so excited =)

Happy Birthday Ava Presley

 

Not ready for the cold weather...

Weather in Texas has been fabulous and we have been taking full advantage!

With playdates at the mall...

And at the Park, we have been having some wonderful days!

Unfortunately next week it is back to Moms Day Out for Kenzie and the arrival of freezing temps (BOO).

Hopefully it won't last too long =)

We are getting ready for the barnyard bash on Sunday then the start of Tot School for Miss Ava next week!

Best Friends at the mall...

Because these two NEED their own post.

I'm sure other moms feel this way too but I can honestly say my good friend Jenn and I have the same child... Well not really but seriously we have always said our girls are SO much alike, and it is SO great having a great friend AND have your children be great friends as well.  

Both of these girls are loud, wild, hilarious, sweet, stubborn, funny and they LOVE each other!

And when you ask them NOT to do something. .They will probably do it =) 

Nothing warms my heart more than the big hugs they give each other when arriving ... and departing!

Big Hugs usually end with them falling to the ground in laughter.

As much as I don't want my sweet girl to already be TWO on Sunday, it's happening! 

 I decided on a 'Fun on the Farm' theme for her party thanks to this picture!

 

After browsing blogs, Etsy, Target Dollar Spot and Hobby Lobby

I found some ADORABLE things for her party!
